How large groups organize themselves

Interesting research results have now been published from the elfe. Together with three other economic research laboratories, Professor Jeannette Brosig-Koch and others have investigated how large groups organize themself. However, since the laboratories only have space for around 25 people, the researchers simply connected the laboratories to each other via the Internet. Together, the four laboratories were  able to investigate the behaviour of large groups (up to 100 people) that normally do not fit into one laboratory. The researchers found out that even large groups can succeed in coordinating and working for a common cause. The research paper was published in the renowned journal European Economic Review and can be accessed here: doi.org/10.1016/j.euroecorev.2019.05.019
